Goat Island

A while ago, I was analyzing the intersection of SR 3 and Nelms Rd for potential safety improvements that I zoomed out to look at the area in google earth and the land use type of information, etc. Guess what? Goat Island. I am nowhere close to the Atlantic or the Gulf for that matter and there is an island named for the playful Goat. So I zoomed in and saw an actual island in the shape of a goat laying in the middle of Flint River! It was upside down but that's a relative term, right? Oh the usual trap of what the reality is again! Reminds me of the New Zealanders with their version of the world map that made America fall down under and them being on top of the world, LOL. Anyway, the Goat Island was fun in the middle of a dry work.
